2017 Eye to Eye Portfolio Review

Eye to Eye portfolio reviews and the Big Pass offer an opportunity for photographers to receive exposure and feedback about their work from influential gallery directors, curators, photo editors and industry professionals. Photographers will receive eight 20 minute review sessions during the portfolio review dates of Oct 26-27, 2017. The review sessions allow photographers to create valuable connections and develop relationships with influential figures from across the field of photography.

Photographers wanting to attend all festival events and lectures are recommended to register for the Big Pass. As a Big Pass ticket holder you will receive admission to all festival lectures, complimentary drinks and tray passed hors d'oeuvres at our VIP Reception, 15% off purchases in the FLASH! Pop-Up Shop, and more! To register for the Big Pass choose this option from the drop down registration tab (this tab will be visible on the registration dates of March 30-31).

Participating photographers will be contacted individually to make selections for reviewer preferences in mid-summer 2017. Our current list of participating reviewers is posted on the portfolio reviewer page, individual reviewer bios will be posted in late spring 2017.

We are planning a workshop on Preparing for Portfolio Reviews for May 6 in San Diego. This information-filled, two-hour workshop gives photographers an opportunity to learn from a seasoned reviewer and working artist, helping you prepare for the Eye to Eye Portfolio Reviews. The cost for this workshop is $45, and we offer priority placement to registered any registered portfolio review photographers first.

*Please note registration for the Eye to Eye Portfolio Reviews and the Big Pass is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED and payment is due at the time of registration. We offer full refunds until July 1, 2016, minus a $100 administrative fee. Refunds are not available after July 1 unless we are able to fill your space, and will be retain the $100 administrative fee.
